The following year, Powell won Eisner's Best Humor Publication and Best Continuing Series awards. He is a featured interviewee in the movie ''Independents''. Powell co-wrote the first two volumes of IDW's '' Godzilla: Kingdom of Monsters'' with Tracy Marsh.
